Stockholm Palace / Stockholm, SwedenThe Stockholm Palace (Stockholms slott) is the official residence and major royal palace of the Swedish monarch, Carl XVI Gustaf and the royal family. The palace has 609 rooms and is one of the largest royal palaces in the world still in use for its original purpose. Stockholm Palace is located on Stadsholmen in the Old Town area of the capital city. It was incredibly cold when we were in Stockholm and I suspect that this poor guy was frozen into his vertical position. Nonetheless, he made for a nice composition.
